ATAA Website problems with Microsoft Internet Explorer 9
The new version of the Microsoft Browser Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) does not manage the menu structure in the current ATAA website properly.
We are told that our website is compliant with web standards, and if this is so then the problem is a failure in IE9. To avoid the problem either remain with IE8, use a different browser or if you do wish to use IE9 then turn on the “Compatibility Mode”.
How to turn on Compatibility Mode
In the address bar at the top of the screen there is the “compatibility mode icon” – to the right of the ATAA.com.au address is a magnifying glass, a down arrow, and a “torn-ticket”. The “torn-ticket” is the “compatibility view” switch. If you turn this on, the fly-out menus work as normal. We are working with our web support people to see if we can overcome this problem.
